Half-Naked Bandits

The Half-Naked Bandits were last spotted in Oklahoma City on May 7, 2011. Witnesses say that the duo recklessly waved their guns in the air after the shoot-out, and then rode off on their horses. Rumors have been circulating throughout the West that the Half-Naked Bandits are planning a late-summer raid in Arkansas. Authorities have issued a warning for all citizens to be on the look out for any suspicious events.

Heartfelt Request

Yesterday we went to Petsmart. No problem there...except Aliya fell in love with a dog--a dog without any front legs. This dog was rather cute. She was peppy, spunky, and LOVED the kids--especially Aliya and Isaiah. Last night Aliya drew this picture and laid it on our dresser.

Today I held Aliya in my arms, on my bed, while she cried for the dear puppy she wanted so badly. I understand. I understand completely. I understand having a desire and not being allowed to fulfill it. But because understanding doesn't remove the pain, we just cried instead.
