Cozy Cuddlers

TJ and Aliya fell asleep on the couch while watching a movie today. I had to take a picture of this special moment . Aliya has spent a good portion of her sleeping life either on TJ's back or his stomach. One day she will be all grown up, and these pictures will bring back many special memories.

Ouch! Does it Really Hurt???

Mimi bought the girls Dora band-aids for when they get hurt. We told the girls that they couldn't just have a band-aid to play around with--they needed to have an owie. It wasn't but a few minutes later that Kiahna came in saying that her leg was hurting her--she needed a "DORA"! Of course she was too cute to say no, so she got a band-aid. Then all of a sudden, her little friend also had an owie that needed a DORA. I do have to admit that there is something special about these band-aids because once the band-aids are on, the pain is gone!

Family, Fun, & FOOD!!!

TJ's family got together for a barbecue this past weekend. TJ spent most of the day grilling and smoking all the meat while his sister and mom went shopping for all the stuff.

We had so much food to eat--it seemed no matter how much everybody ate, there was always more food! It wasn't too hot outside, but there sure were a ton of flies! Even the gusty wind didn't keep them away!

After the sun went down, almost everybody changed into their swimsuits to go swimming. We swam for over an hour--just long enough to work up an appetite for more dessert!
