Expecting...

We are expecting a baby! TJ and I were so relieved to see a beautiful, active, healthy baby bouncing around on the screen! I knew that I had been holding my breath for this appointment...and I was thankful to be able to finally exhale.

I am still hurting from losing our last baby--my heart is still raw. As we watched our new little baby moving around on the ultrasound screen, I could feel hope and joy filling my heart again. I know that I still have a lot of healing to do, but we are so thankful for this blessing. This baby is a beautiful bloom in a barren desert. We love you, Little One! We can't wait to meet you face to face!

Sitting in the Back

Getting to move to a rear seat is as much of a milestone as cutting teeth or walking. Sitting in the 'way back' is an obvious privilege reserved only for 'big' people.

Well, last night Daddy moved Isaiah's seat to the back, and today is the first day that Isaiah gets to ride in the back seat like a big boy! I don't think that his smile could get any bigger!

New Playground

For the past few weeks, we have been watching this playground being built. We love playgrounds, so having one built close by is very exciting. Today is the first day that the play ground is open for activity, so naturally we wanted to try it out. Sure enough, we love it!
