Blast From the Past

We recently developed some of the film that we have had in our refrigerator for YEARS--the earliest film dated back to Aliya's birth. I hope that everyone enjoys this glimpse back in time!

Niah was very proud of her new baby sister. She had been hoping for a baby girl, and that is exactly what she got! She was very nervous and excited all at the same time.

Aliya had the cutest pudgy cheeks! We were always kissing on them!

Niah always had an ear-to-ear grin when taking pictures with her Sissy. She wanted to help feed her, give her a toy or a pacifier, but she never was interested in helping to change diapers. Even at a young age, Niah was very smart!!!

Niah looked so big on her Kindergarten Graduation Day in May 2003. Many of our family and friends came to enjoy this special event with us.

Shortly after moving into our new house in Mustang, TJ and I were outside doing yard work while Niah was giving Aliya a ride in the wagon. Aliya ended up falling asleep for the ride!

Later on that same day, Niah rode her bike for the first time without training wheels! Daddy was never too far away!

It was always a mystery as to who exactly was making all the messes in the house--Aliya would blame it on the dogs...the dogs would blame it on Aliya. Somehow, though, they always seemed to be together whenever a mess was discovered!

June 30, 2004--Niah's official adoption day! After court and after pictures, Niah wanted to celebrate by eating at a Chinese restaurant..and that is exactly what we did!

I hope that everyone enjoyed the Blast from the Past. Maybe in the future we will take another look into those not-so-long-ago years.
